One of My Favorite Places in the Lakes Region Just Got Even Better

One of my favorite things about being a photographer is getting the opportunity to work with local businesses that are passionate about what they do. Recently, I had the chance to photograph the new summer cocktail menu at Bernini in Laconia, and it reminded me exactly why this has become one of my favorite spots in the Lakes Region.

If you’ve been to Bernini before, you’ll immediately notice the incredible transformation. Owner Brianna has poured so much heart, vision, and hard work into this restaurant, and it shows in every detail. The recent renovation is absolutely stunning. The space feels elevated, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed from the moment you walk through the door.

It’s been so fun watching Bernini continue to grow and evolve over the years. What Brianna has accomplished is genuinely inspiring. Running a restaurant is no small feat, and creating a space that people want to come back to again and again takes a special kind of dedication.

Then there’s the new summer cocktail menu.

During the shoot, I had the chance to photograph several of the featured drinks, including the Spicy Mango Margarita, Espresso Martini, Bernini Cosmo, Passionfruit Martini, Strawberry Basil Martini, Grapefruit Bubbly, and Old Fashioned, to name a few. Each cocktail was beautifully crafted and perfectly reflected the creativity and attention to detail that Bernini is known for.

The Spicy Mango Margarita immediately caught my eye. Served with a mango popsicle tucked into the drink, it’s the kind of cocktail that makes you stop and smile before you even take your first sip. It was a dream to photograph and perfectly captures the fun, vibrant energy of summer.

As much as I loved photographing the cocktails, what I love even more is helping local businesses showcase everything they’ve worked so hard to build. Professional photography isn’t just about taking pretty pictures. It’s about helping businesses tell their story, strengthen their brand, and create a connection with the people they serve.

That’s one of the reasons I enjoy commercial photography so much. Getting to collaborate with local business owners like Brianna and help bring their vision to life is incredibly rewarding. Whether it’s a restaurant, boutique, salon, or small business, great imagery can help elevate a brand and showcase the experience customers can expect before they even walk through the door.

If you’re looking for a reason to visit Bernini this summer, consider this your sign. Between the beautiful renovation, the welcoming atmosphere, and the incredible cocktail menu, it’s a place that continues to raise the bar while staying true to what makes it special.

Congratulations to Brianna and her team on creating such a beautiful space. I can’t wait to see what’s next for Bernini, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
