What is the best time to schedule a newborn session?
The best time for a newborn session is within the first 2-3 weeks after birth. During this time, babies are still very sleepy and easier to pose.
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions can take place in studio or outdoors at a location of your choice, depending on the type of session. We can also shoot at your home for a more lifestyle feel.
Is there a discount if I book my maternity and newborn sessions together?
Yes! My Bundle of Joy package allows for $100 to be taken off of any newborn collection when booking with your maternity collection.
How long does a session last?
Most sessions last from 30 minutes to an hour depending the chosen package. All of the detailed information for what is included in each collection can be found on the investment page.

When will we receive our photos?
I always provide a sneak peek image within 48 hours of your session! A full watermarked proofing gallery will be delivered within 2-3 days of the session. After you choose your favorites, final edited images are delivered within another 2-3 weeks.
How far in advance should I book a session?
Send me a message through the contact form and I’ll get back to you quickly to discuss the details! Maternity and Newborn sessions It’s best to book during your second or third trimester to secure your spot. Maternity portraits are scheduled for when mom is about 30-34 weeks pregnant.
For most Portrait sessions 4-6 weeks in advance is usually enough, especially during busy seasons.
For Weddings I suggest booking at least a year in advance, especially if your date is during peak season.
