There are some weddings that feel less like an event and more like one giant celebration of everything that makes two people who they are. Kaycee and Tim’s wedding was exactly that.
Set at a friend’s barn on a gorgeous New Hampshire fall day, their wedding had everything you could hope for: vibrant fall foliage, perfect weather, a beautiful outdoor tent reception, the kind of friends who keep everyone laughing, and a whole lot of love surrounding them. With orange and blue details woven throughout the day, the setting felt like the quintessential New Hampshire autumn wedding.
And of course, no fall wedding would be complete without a few unforgettable characters, both human and furry. But more on that later.

A Wedding Day Full of Personality
The morning started with two very different getting-ready experiences. The girls settled into the farmhouse, getting ready together as the excitement built. The guys, meanwhile, took over a camper parked outside, complete with blue shag carpet and orange drapes. Honestly, I couldn’t have designed a more memorable backdrop if I tried.
If the camper wasn’t enough of a clue, it didn’t take long to realize that Tim’s groomsmen and friends were going to keep this day entertaining. Their personalities were absolutely hilarious, and there was never a shortage of jokes, laughter, or questionable decisions. They brought the kind of energy that makes a wedding feel effortless and fun, and I have a feeling Kaycee and Tim will be hearing stories about this crew for years to come.
Thankfully, Kaycee is an emergency room nurse, because based on some of Tim’s antics, I suspect her medical expertise may come in handy more than once.

A Sword, a Wedding Cake, and a Little Bit of Chaos
One of the most memorable moments of the day came when Kaycee gifted Tim a custom sword. It was such a personal, unexpected gift, and naturally, they put it to use by cutting their wedding cake with it.
Because a regular cake knife would have been far too ordinary for these two.
The sword cake cutting was already a highlight, but Tim decided to take things one step further. At some point, he apparently thought the best way to enjoy the frosting left on the blade was to try licking it off.
Yes, really.
I can only imagine what was going through Kaycee’s mind in that moment. On the bright side, she was already in wedding attire and didn’t have to clock in for an ER shift. On the other hand, she may want to keep a first-aid kit handy for future anniversaries.
In all seriousness, it was one of those wonderfully ridiculous moments that made their wedding feel so uniquely theirs. Not every couple cuts their cake with a custom sword, and even fewer have a groom who immediately tests the blade for leftover frosting.

The Kind of Love That Shows Up in a Crowd
One of the things that stood out most about Kaycee and Tim’s wedding was just how many people showed up for them. Friends and family surrounded them throughout the day, creating an atmosphere that felt warm, lively, and full of genuine excitement.
You could see how much these two mean to the people in their lives. There was laughter everywhere, plenty of familiar faces, and that unmistakable feeling of being surrounded by people who are truly happy to celebrate your marriage.
Weddings like this are a reminder that the beauty of a wedding day isn’t just in the setting or the details. It’s in the people who fill it, the stories they bring with them, and the memories they help create.

An Outdoor Reception Wrapped in Fall Color
New Hampshire really showed off for Kaycee and Tim. The trees were in full fall foliage, the weather couldn’t have been better, and the outdoor tent reception brought everything together beautifully.
The orange and blue decor added the perfect seasonal touch without competing with the landscape. The warm autumn colors, the open-air setting, and the surrounding trees made the entire day feel like a celebration of fall itself.
It was the kind of day that makes you remember why autumn weddings in New Hampshire are so special. The scenery does so much of the work, and when you add a couple who are genuinely fun to be around and a crowd ready to celebrate them, it’s hard to beat.

Gatsby, the Flower Man, and Some Serious Competition for the Spotlight
Every wedding has someone who steals the show, and at Kaycee and Tim’s wedding, there was some pretty stiff competition.
First, there was their flower man, who took his job of tossing colorful fall leaves to a level of commitment I can only describe as athletic artistry. With the energy of a man on a mission and the grace of a professional dancer, he launched leaves into the air like the entire success of the wedding depended on it. It was hilarious, completely unexpected, and honestly one of those moments that makes a wedding day unforgettable.
And then, of course, there was Gatsby, their adorable corgi, bringing his own special brand of charm to the day. Between the flower man’s leaf-tossing performance, a sword cake cutting, and a camper with blue shag carpet, Gatsby had some serious competition for the title of wedding MVP.
I’m still not sure who won, but I can confidently say this wedding had absolutely no shortage of personality.

The Garter Toss That Fooled the Groom
Just when you thought this wedding couldn’t get any funnier, the garter toss happened. Kaycee was replaced in the chair by one of Tim’s groomsmen, who committed to the bit so completely that Tim had absolutely no idea he wasn’t sitting in front of his bride. Blindfolded until the very end, Tim went through the whole routine, including removing the garter with his teeth, completely unaware of the surprise waiting for him. The reveal was priceless, and the look on his face made the whole prank worth it. These are the kinds of wedding moments you just can’t plan, and I’m pretty sure Tim will never hear the end of this one!

Kaycee & Tim, What a Day
Kaycee and Tim’s wedding was the perfect mix of beautiful and ridiculous in the best possible way. It had the gorgeous New Hampshire fall setting, thoughtful personal details, hilarious friends, a custom sword, an unforgettable cake-cutting moment, and a corgi who deserves his own highlight reel.
More than anything, it was a day filled with the people who love them most. The kind of wedding where you can feel the friendships, see the family bonds, and watch two people begin their marriage surrounded by a whole community cheering them on.
Kaycee and Tim, thank you for letting me be part of such a fun, heartfelt, and completely unforgettable day. I hope your marriage is filled with the same laughter, adventure, and love that surrounded you on your wedding day.
And Tim? Please keep the sword away from the cake frosting next time.
Congratulations, you two! 🤍
