Blue Skies, Happy Tears, and New Beginnings
On May 16th, I had the honor of photographing a beautiful intimate wedding for Teri and Rob at Wasan Pond. It was a perfect New Hampshire spring day with 75 degree weather, blue skies, and a light breeze that made the entire afternoon feel peaceful and relaxed. The covered bridge at Wasan Pond created the most charming and meaningful setting for their ceremony.
Surrounded by their closest family members, including Rob’s son and Teri’s daughter, son in law, and grandson, the day felt incredibly personal and full of love. One of the things I love most about intimate weddings is how present everyone is in the moment, and that was exactly the feeling throughout their entire day. Every smile, glance, and quiet moment between them reflected the deep connection they share.
The rustic beauty of the covered bridge and the natural scenery around the pond made for timeless portraits, but what stood out most was the genuine joy between Teri and Rob. Their wedding was simple in the best possible way, focused entirely on love, family, and beginning this next chapter together.
As a photographer, being trusted to capture moments like these is something I never take for granted. Teri and Rob’s wedding was a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful celebrations are often the most intimate. I feel incredibly grateful to have been part of such a special day and to preserve these memories for their family for years to come.
